You can activate the Power Functions motor contained with the set to move the boom up and down, drive the model back and forth on its tracks, rotate the superstructure and lower or raise the winch via the rear panel of the crane.  One other feature of this set is that you can customise the height of the boom very easily with push and pull pins (as seen in the video above).Authentic details of this scaled model include air ventilation shafts towards the rear right of the crane, track pieces, an openable detailed cab, manually operated grabber claw and exhaust pipe. This set contains the new turntable element to enable superstructures such as this to turn more easily and smoothly. New pieces also include load shifting elements and more panel elements in blue to give the crane a more realistic feel.

This set also re-builds into a 60-70cm high tower crane. The trolley on the boom moves back and forth. It has 3 motorised functions that either drive the model forwards or backwards, rotating the superstructure similarly to the crawler crane and lowering or raising the grabber claw. The grabber opens and closes manually.
